Biography: Deepika Padukone is a
model turned actor. After ruling the fashion ramps, in Bollywood she debuted in
the mega blockbuster movie Om Shanti Om, opposite Shahrukh Khan and directed by
Farah Khan. She got the Filmfare award for best female debut for this movie.
She started her acting career with a Kannada film, Aishwarya. Born to badminton
player Prakash Padukone, Deepika is a national level badminton champion. She
then went on to star in many hit movies including Yeh Jawani hai Diwani,
Goliyon ki Rasleela: Ram Leela, Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail, Finding Fanny etc. She
is currently one of the top paid actresses in Bollywood.
